About me
We adopted Tomsk in 1982 not long after we emigrated to Tasmania, Australia. Our daughter was only 5 and she was sad to leave behind her cat Felix in the UK, so we went to the RSPCA and chose a beautiful jet black kitten and named him Tomsk. He grew into a beautiful cat and was very big, more like a miniature panther!
Favourite food
He loved raw meat, especially steak.
Favourite toy
I can´t remember if he ever played with toys.
Likes
He used to like stretching out in front of the fire in winter time. He loved me to pick him up for a cuddle and he used to put his paws right around my neck.
Dislikes
Dogs! Once, a pit bull terrier was roaming the neighbourhood and we were woken to a noise outside one night. It was this horrible dog in our garden and he chased Tomsk away. He didn´t come home until 2 weeks later and his feet were all torn and bloodied.
What makes me special
His huge size really. Everyone who met him were amazed by him. He loved all of us, especially our eldest daughter, as she had him to love for about 13 years before he went away. Tomsk was special in every way.
